Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Academicians:
- Served or served as a Vice-Chancellor, Director, or Principal of a university, postgraduate engineering college, or research institute.
- A Professor with at least 10 years of regular service in the revised Pay Matrix-14 (Pre-revised Pay Band-4 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000).
- Government Officers:
- Officers from Central/State Governments, Union Territories, or Public Enterprises.
- Must hold a Joint Secretary-level position with at least 5 years of regular service in the rank.
- Experience in managing the technical education system is required.
- University or Research Institute Officers:
- Officers holding the Registrar post or equivalent in Central Universities or similar institutions.
- Should have 10 years of regular service in the revised Pay Matrix-14 (Pre-revised Pay Band-4 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000).
- Age Limit:
- Applicants should preferably be below 59 years before the application deadline.
