DOT Recruitment 2025: The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Telecom Assistant (TA) posts for 2025. These are Group ‘C’ posts available on a deputation basis at the National Centre for Communication Security (NCCS), Bengaluru.

The total number of vacancies available under DOT LDC, Telecom Assistant Recruitment 2025 are:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 1 Post (Bangalore)
- Telecom Assistant (TA) – 2 Posts (Bangalore)
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for both positions are as follows:
1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Universities, Research Institutions, or Autonomous bodies.
- Experience: Must be holding an analogous post on a regular basis OR have at least three years of service in Level-1 pay matrix (Rs.18,000-56,900) or equivalent.
- Educational Qualification:
- 12th Pass from a recognized board.
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
- Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date.
2. Telecom Assistant (TA)
- Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Universities, Research Institutions, or Autonomous bodies.
- Experience:
- Must hold an analogous post on a regular basis OR have 5 years of experience in the Level-4 pay matrix (Rs.25,500-81,100) OR 10 years of experience in the Level-3 pay matrix (Rs.21,700-69,100).
- Educational Qualification:
- Essential:
- Three-year Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Big Data Analysis, IoT, or Instrumentation from a recognized institution.
- OR a B.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science.
- Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, IT, Instrumentation) OR an M.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science.
- Essential:
- Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date.

Selection Process for DOT Recruitment 2025
The selection for DOT LDC, Telecom Assistant Recruitment 2025 will be based on:
