1) The Institute for Social and Economic Change’s (ISEC) Population Research Centre has launched a digital population clock and Census Data Research Workstation to provide real-time estimates of the population of Karnataka and India.
➨The clock is the first-of-its-kind in the region, jointly set up by ISEC and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India.

11) In Wrestling, India’s Mansi Ahlawat has clinched the bronze medal in the women’s 59kg category at the Seniors World Championships, in Tirana, Albania. Mansi defeated Laurence Beauregard of Canada, 5-NIL, in the bronze medal.
12) Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) carried out a rare docking mission involving the spent fourth stage of its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and two satellites.
➨ The PSLV-C60 rocket carrying the two satellites of 220 kg each lifted off from the first launchpad of the Satish Dhavan Space Port at Sriharikota.

15) Seven Indian institutions have secured a place in the Top 100 of the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025.
➨ India is home to two universities in the top 50 and seven in the top 100, with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi leading at 44th place.
➨ IIT Bombay is ranked 48th, while IIT Madras (56th), IIT Kharagpur (60th) Indian Institute of Science (62nd), IIT Kanpur (67th), and the University of Delhi (81st) are the other Indian institutes in the Top 100, showcasing India’s robust academic standing.

12) भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) ने अपने ध्रुवीय उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान (पीएसएलवी) के चौथे चरण और दो उपग्रहों को शामिल करते हुए एक दुर्लभ डॉकिंग मिशन को अंजाम दिया।
➨ पीएसएलवी-सी60 रॉकेट ने 220 किलोग्राम वजन के दो उपग्रहों को लेकर श्रीहरिकोटा स्थित सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र के प्रथम लॉन्चपैड से उड़ान भरी।

➨ शीर्ष 50 में भारत के दो विश्वविद्यालय तथा शीर्ष 100 में भारत के सात विश्वविद्यालय हैं, जिसमें भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आईआईटी) दिल्ली 44वें स्थान पर है।
