RLDA is recruiting for multiple vacancies in different locations for both civil and electrical engineering fields.
- Civil Engineering:
- Locations: Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Muzaffarpur/Patna, Surat (SITCO).
- Positions Available: 5 (1 for each location)
- Pay Scale:
- Joint General Manager (JGM): Pay Level-13 (7th CPC)
- Deputy General Manager (DGM): Pay Level-12 (7th CPC)
- Electrical Engineering:
- Locations: Ahmedabad, Surat (SITCO).
- Positions Available: 2 (1 for each location)
- Pay Scale:
- Joint General Manager (JGM): Pay Level-13 (7th CPC)
- Deputy General Manager (DGM): Pay Level-12 (7th CPC)
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements for the RLDA Joint General Manager / Deputy General Manager roles are as follows:
For JGM (Civil) and DGM (Civil):
- JGM (Civil):
- Must be working on an analogous post, or a Group ‘A’ officer with regular posts in Pay Level 13/12 from the IRSE cadre of Indian Railways, Central/State Govt., or equivalent in PSUs/Statutory Authorities.
- Requires 9 years of Group ‘A’ service or equivalent.
- DGM (Civil):
- Must be working on an analogous post or as a Group ‘A’ or Group ‘B’ Gazetted officer with regular posts in Pay Level 12/11.
- Requires a degree in Civil Engineering with 6 years of service in Group ‘A’/Group ‘B’ or a diploma with 15 years of experience.
For JGM (Electrical) and DGM (Electrical):
- JGM (Electrical):
- Must be working on an analogous post or as a Group ‘A’ officer with regular posts in Pay Level 13/12 from the IRSEE cadre, Central/State Govt., or equivalent in PSUs/Statutory Authorities.
- Requires 9 years of Group ‘A’ service or equivalent.
- DGM (Electrical):
- Must be working on an analogous post or as a Group ‘A’ or Group ‘B’ Gazetted officer with regular posts in Pay Level 12/11.
- Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of service in Group ‘A’/Group ‘B’ or a diploma with 15 years of experience.
Additional Desirable Experience for Both Roles:
- Knowledge of land management and tendering work.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Experience in MEPF work (Electrical).
Terms of Appointment and Benefits
- Appointment Basis: Deputation, following regular deputation terms.
- Tenure: 5 years (3 years with a possible extension for two additional years).
- Allowances & Benefits: Deputation allowance, railway accommodation, railway passes, lease/conveyance allowances, medical facilities, soft furnishing allowance, and electricity allowance.
